USB 2.0 Case and 3.0 Motherboard

I plan on using a USB 3.0 Motherboard in a 2.0 Case, I know I won't be able to use 3.0 in the front, And Im ok with that. Is it compatible?

Yeah, perfectly fine since the ports will be on the mobo backpanel and have nothing to do with the chassis.

Most good mb vendors and case vendors now toss in a USB 3.0 to 2.0 adaptor in the parts kits now. Use the USB 3.0 header if you want to on most new mb.

But this will not allow for USB3 throughput though. Keep that in mind. It will just allow you to use MORE headers.
