PROBABLY it will work (though you didn't list the exact MODEL of DDR3).
Please note you can easily check the motherboard site or manual for specifications.
For future reference:
1) type (i.e. DDR3)
2) amount per slot motherboard allows (i.e. up to 8GB per slot)
3) *read motherboard manual for PLACEMENT (unless using all slots)
4) motherboard support sites usually have a "memory support list" (not necessarily complete)
5) confirm VOLTAGE is supported (i.e. 1.5V)
Other:
1) BIOS should be up to date
2) set BIOS settings for "SPD" (serial presence detect) or whatever setting gives you the optimal memory profile
3) *Always run MEMTEST (most errors in two minutes; eventually run overnight)
4) **If you overclock the CPU be careful not to exceed your RAM specs. For example, if you overclock the CPU by increasing the BASE CLOCK this may also overclock the RAM requiring you to drop the RAM MULTIPLIER so it doesn't exceed 1600MHz. (Your RAM default might be 1333MHz even though it's 1600MHz memory; you MIGHT have to overclock the CPU to get above 1333MHz for example.)
