i have a 500w power supply which would be better to bu a gtx 630 or a gtx 640

A GTX 640 is faster. Neither is great for gaming though. A 500w power supply is good for any single card up to a GTX 670 as long as it's a decent power supply. Make and model? And budget for a graphics card?

what company psu do u have and does it have a pci connector if not the best graphic card u can get would be a hd 7750

I agree.

The GT 640 is more in line with competing with a HD 6670, which is also low power consuming. I'd much rather go for the much more updated and more powerful 7750, which isn't all too expensive.

if u can afford a gtx 650 ti would be good but if not hd 7770 will also be good
hd 6670>hd 7750> hd 7770> gtx 650 ti
