hey,

I am looking for a video card that can hold games like the title and all the newer games that are going to be released.

I'm currently using a Nvidia Geforce GT 610, it can handle some games but mostly lowest resolution and quality. And I want to change that

My computer specs:

1. CPU: Intel Core I5 2320 3.00 Ghz
2. Video Card: Nvidia Geforce GT 610 Geforce.com Alternate
3. Motherboard: AS Rock H61M-S Link
3. RAM: Kingston 4 GB Link
4. Power Supply: be quiet! Pure PowerL7 350W Link
5. Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit

If you need more specs or information just ask.

Btw, it would be nice if the budget is under €400 = $524.36 U.S. dollars

Thanks,
Melletjee

Solution
first of all you need new psu and gpu both

1)Gpu : saphhire hd 7970 3gb boost edition / asus direct cu hd 7970 2gb

2)Psu : Seasonic s12 620w psu

this is best for you and will workwith your pc.

I prefer on Nvidia.
so that would be nice

and second i really have to buy new spu?

will it still be in budget?

i will have a look at your first suggestions the saphhire hd 7970 3gb boost edition and asus direct cu hd 7970 2gb

But i think i will go for a Nvidia
Is it hard to overclock btw?

I think my motherboard isn't SLI compatible
I will have a look

you have to replace the gpu and psu with new one.

you have to connect 6pin connectors from psu to gpu.you can watch some youtube videos for help

most power supply have the required cables for videocards now, what you really need to put into consideration is the 12V rail capacity of the PSU it must exceed the 12V power requirment of the card, then make sure you buy from a reputable brand. have this in mind high advertised wattage rating doesnt guarantee a good psu

Sorry I don't know much about PSU's

but a 12V rail is that the some cable I need?
I will first go to youtube and get some research about PSU's

For now I think i will go for the GTX 670
If you guys agree with that

Before I forget thank you all for the help and information :)

Ya, I know

I don't have the money yet
but I'm on my way
With my job I have the money in about.... 3 months something like that maybe

I'm going to buy them both together (GPU and SPU)

But for now i have time to do some research
on the SPU.

If you guys find a good PSU or even a GPU, feel free to post it
I'll check this post daily

A little about psu. The computer uses three voltages 3.3V 5V and 12V which the PSU. the graphics card is mostly affected by the 12v rail, so example: your 350W power supply may have 3.3V * 20A= 60.6 watts 5V*30A = 150watts 12V*12A= 140watts

Hahah that's some difficult information
but I know a little from school
about the watt's and ampere's and Volt's

I see the logic of what you just said
but don't really understand it

and you don't have to try to explain it
I think my mind would explode from the inside ;p
