A Motherboard question/advice request

Hello, for starters I guess I could set an approximate 250-300$ for this requested motherboard.
I guess I kinda made a stupid choice picking P6TD around 1-2 years ago since the LGA1366 is dead more or less.

I am in need of a less heating CPU and for that I guess I need to go to a new CPU with a 1155 socket since what I've figured out from searching hours on the net, is impossible with P6TD since its socket 1366 (correct me if I am wrong.)

So now I come to the dilemma, I am looking for a good motherboard for gaming and possibly streaming/frapsing, I am looking to keep the rest of the hardware as much as possible but question is if thats possible.

The current hardware I am holding is:
Graphic Card: GeForce GTX 295
DDR3 Triple Channel RAM: G.skill 3x2GB (Part nr. F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ)
And thats pretty much it.
I have more than enough power from my power supplier to take on any motherboard capable, but I render myself in confusion if those RAMs would fit in anything but the motherboards with LGA1366.

I hope to see possible solutions to this.

My main issue is the heat, I wrote the wrong grafic card aswell, sorry about that.

My main issue is the heat, I tried to cool down the CPU with a little watercooler, it turned out much stronger than the regular CPU cooler you got with the package, but now it is really a problem again.

I run with 2 monitors and when I play certain games the heat goes mental. It can be in heat levels between 80-100 and that is just running 1 game on high details not ultra.
The current games I've experienced this happening in has been;
World of Warcraft
and a new game called: Neverwinter
I dont have FPS issues tho, but when the heat goes at it highest, the graphic card starts to shut off. (aka screen goes black and comes back with either a error about drivers going off and on)

Yeah like I responded I wrote wrong :p I was looking for a new GPU and I was looking at GTX670 and yeah accidently wrote the GTX670 one in at starters.
And yeah so far I've seen the GTX 670 is a problem too since they seem to run on Express V3? While P6TD still runs V2 so I figured thats not going to work. Working on finding a proper V2 GPU atm.

A side note, you do have me tempted to wait and see with the new intel one coming around june, however I still have a strong feeling it's going to be a heaty one like the i7 turned out to be. :p

E: By closer look around graphic card 3.0 cards can be used in 2.0 slots? or is this wrong? :x also if thats the case for recording or streaming would it require a higher memory gpu e.g. 4gb would be superior to 2gb or just pointless (this being taking a look at the GTX 670)
