I just bought a new ASUS GT630, and am having some issues with video in Windows Media Center. There is a slight stutter every 5 or so seconds, which is pretty annoying. I upgraded from a 9600GSO, which never had any video problems. I initially had my monitor hooked up via VGA with the new card, and it was pretty bad, but it got much better when I switched to HDMI. I have fairly old hardware (from about 2-3 years ago), and my monitor is about 5 years old (still LCD though). Is there an issue with the compatibility of new GPU technology and old monitor technology, or is this a software issue? Are there settings for the GPU that I can change? THankss!

I have installed the latest drivers. I have a 550W PSU. Also, might I add that I bought an AMD 6670, which I returned for the GT 630, that also had the same stuttering issue. Do I need to clear old settings out of media center or something? The stuttering doesn't occur during movies, only TV.

Using the same hardware configuration, with the exception of a different boot drive, I reinstalled Windows, and the stutter was gone. I also had a problem where my PC wouldn't stay asleep for longer than 30 seconds (the log told me that my new GPU was the culprit), and this problem is also gone. Looks like a clean install is the solution for this problem....
