looking for a 3d monitor(around 600$)

I'm afraid that I don't know of any 27" monitors which are both 120hz and 3D Vision compatible. The ASUS VG248QE is a 24" that has all those criteria, and the VG27HE has everything other than 3D vision.
Also, given what you're spending on your PC, you may want a higher-tier cooler. Something along the lines of the Nocuta DH14 or the NZXT Kraken x60.

Well, first of all, Jack, for a monitor to be 3D compatible it has to be 120Hz, so if there is and I will look, it will have to be 120Hz.

Here you go, ASUS is the only maker that I could find for one. And that is perfectly fine as they are probably the best monitor manufacturer out there. This one has the emitter for the 3D glasses on the top and also has lightboost and the glasses with it for $550. The other ones do not have the emitter and do not have the glasses, and only one had lightboost, meaning that you would have to purchase the kit for the glasses and emitter, which are not cheap. (Traditional 3D glasses make the screen look very dark, so lightboost simply lightens it by doing a few different things. It also makes it much easier to play and almost eliminates the headaches and sore eyes that you would experience otherwise).

Whoops. Good catch. I was completely incorrect. I think I made that comment rather late at night, and mixed up 3D and 1440p (having just recently tried and failed to find a 1440p, 120hz monitor). I'm aware of how 3D monitors work, I swear!

Thats totally fine jack, I did the same thing the other day, but with Haswell (it was more of bad wording than mistake though), and the guy freaked at me. I was a bit taken aback, but its good to see im not alone on the mistakes :)

Thanks.
Honestly, it would be scarier if we didn't make mistakes from time to time. A forum without error is a forum full of robots.
