cpu runing kinda hot at idle

A few days ago i changed from a Rosewall Challanger to a HAF case and my cpu is now runing hotter then it was in the older case i also reaplyed the thermal paste and that dosent help. Leting the pc idle it around 41c kinda high but when i open or try to play a game its shoots to 60c to 70c. anyone got some tips?

Get thermal paste, remove heatsink, clean processor and heatsink with isopropyl alcohol and lint-free cloth/rag/etc, apply thermal paste (a dot in the center), reseat heatsink.
