Hello,

I have a GTX 550 Ti. Its a pretty good card no problems running on Windows 7 or 8. I been thinking of upgrading. I recently upgraded my CPU to a FX 8320. I dont play games at all. Mainly i am just watching movies on the computer, working on homework, or similar things. Not even close to a hardcore gamer or anything like that. Ive been looking at the HD 7770, but i havent found a reason to upgrade.
Even if I do, will i see any benefits in doing so as far as normal performance goes?

Thanks

if you don't play games then no reason to even have a good graphics card. not to mention the 7770 would not be much better at all than the 550ti. Graphics cards are made for games, that's it, if you don't play games, your wasting your money. If anything, invest in an SSD to speed your system up, speeding up boot times and load times.
