Everything is more expensive in Australia. Why? Because they can get away with it. >=(

In fairness, Australia has good wages and a strong economy. I'd sure as hell trade cheap electronics for all they've got going for them (except for all the poisonous things. They can most certainly keep those).

Doubt you'll get a 10 fps boost going from a 660 to a 7930, maybe 6~ fps.

in that range

it all depends on settings and such, sorry not the best link above but this is not exactly a difficult test.
but 5-15 fps and $10 cheaper is always a good deal. plus it comes with 3 free games ($90 value).
this is not even factoring that if you look at overclockers.net official tahiti group everyone is getting an overclock to 1200 MHz. that adds another even more but the same can be said for nvidia.
I actually really prefer nvidia but not so much as to pay more for less.

You think Australia has it bad in prices? You should check where I live in Thailand. The 660 DirectCU II is priced at $260, and that isn't including vat. Titan is $1,100. >.>
