I have an issue with my router or perhaps my smartphone , I really don't know which one of them are responsable for this.
The thing is I have a DHCP connection from my ISP and when I turn on the laptop I need to authentificate in a litlle program called "Authorize Client" just with a password , not with a username too. It is not like the PPPoE connection when you get a username and password.
The internet works pretty well on the laptop and on the smartphone too , but when I turn off the laptop and remain just with the smartphone connected to my wireless router , after 15-20 min the connection drops.
Despite the fact that the connection drops my smartphone is still connected to the wireless router but I can't navigate the web or do anything that requires data transfer through wireless.
I think the issue could be that "Authorize Client" because when I turn off the laptop this "Authorize Client" shuts down.
Can anyone tell me how can I do the settings for the router for my wireless connection to work on the smartphone without turning on the laptop?
I would really apreciatte if someone could really help me.
