Download 3DMark11
Download MSi Afterburner

1) Go onto the web and see what people are getting their 680's to OC to.
Take into note about your climate , this can have a small effect on the outcomes.
2)Depending upon the comparisons , use the MSi afterburner software to overclock
It's basically sliding a small bar up and down to change all the frequencies of the card.
3) After changing the frequencies , run 3DMark11 and watch out for any artifacts (These occur where the video card becomes over heated , they look like shapes which pop up every now and again)

This is what I did on my previous rig and it worked fine.

I would use unigine heaven benchmark to test at first as you can keep it running while you make adjustments in msi afterburner.
1. do not change voltage until you see how far you can go on stock voltage. just change the frequency in MHZ
2. once you see artifacts popping up on the heaven benchmark you can make some voltage increases. small voltage increases.
If you want to mitigate any risk then do not change your voltages and only increase your core clock and memory clock.
I would increase your power limit before increasing your core voltage.
increasing any of these parameters will produce more heat so download gpu-z and click the sensor tab so you can see all of your temps.
keep temps at max load below 75C
