My 600Va Power tree UPS fails to stop restarting (If power goes off) while gaming but on other times (Non gaming) it is fine to keep up. This UPS is 12years old i have changed the batteries twice. Batteries are good but i think it can't handle the load or it output capacity reduced in some way.

My all specs are in my signature. I want to connect the LCD pannel and CPU. Suggest me the Va i need in my new UPS? My purpose is only avoid restarting while gaming / any other high intention tasks (if power goes off). I don't need a long standby time. But i need a time to save close application and shutdown. Say 5 min is more than enough.

In future i will insert a 1tb wd blue sata drive. Nothing else

I live in srilanka. We don't find newegg models here for UPS selection
I think by saying "Active PFC Compatible" mentioning the pure sine wave UPS.

I just need a UPS to be able to perform a save shutdown at the time of blackout. I won't work in UPS for long other than just closing the application and shutting down. Since standby / interactive UPS use power from the wall directly unless the power is down i think i'm fine with a normal UPS. If i am wrong correct me on that.

We don't have a affordable pure sine wave UPS here as cyberpower. APS also not available around 1kva. My question is pure sinewave is that essential for me? I will be only using battery backup to shutdown the computer.

I don't think your PSU has Active PFC so pure sine wave shouldn't be a concern, this is how CyberPower responded to an inquiry of mine about that "Your computer uses a power supply that utilizes Active Power Factor Correction (Active PFC) to improve efficiency. Power supplies with active PFC may experience incompatibility problems with a UPS that does not provide pure sine wave power output when the power supply switches from AC power to UPS battery power. As a result, when a computer system using a power supply with active PFC is attached to a non-sine wave UPS, the system may shut down when it switches to battery power. Also, if the power supply continues to operate, it may produce a humming or high pitch noise while running on battery. This humming indicates the power supply is operating beyond specified tolerances and may damage the power supply."
Since that doesn't seem to be the case here, I don't think you'll need Pure or Adaptive Sine Wave

My silencer mkiii does have active PFC.

I have used silencer mk iii and Silver stone Strider PSU on my simulated sine wave UPS with out any issue until i install GTX 660 Card. I think may be my UPS become old or the UPS it self can't handle the total draw.

Also i have talked with Silverstone about the requirement of pure sine UPS. Their answer is:
"
Regarding your question, our PSU both have self-protected function,
You don’t need to worry about that."

Haven't heard such noise before.

Any way all issues suppose to happen while running in battery. I will be only using the battery to shutdown. SO i don't think it won't lead the psu to fail that soon. I can replace around 3 psu for the price of pure sine wave UPS.
