Rise of Nations won't even install on Windows 7 64-bit

OK, my OS is Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium edition. When I insert my Rise of Nation disc (By Ubisoft exclusive), the game won't even install. My DVD drive shows no disc being inserted despite inserting the disc.

Please help! Other games with discs work fine.

Well if the DVD drive works with other games on the same rig with the same OS then it has nothing at all to do with Windows 7. I would make sure the disc is free of finger prints and scratches. For some reason the DVD drive is not reading the disc and that means it is ether a bad disc or scratched/dirty.

Well, I went to the Amazon.com reviews and it appears that some users are having the same problem as me. The Ubisoft exclusive edition does not seem to work on some PCs with Windows 7.
