I going to buy a new cpu for "only gaming" within a week and I have exceeded my budget by far, so is there anyone who can help me decide what should I cut in order to fit in my budget

I need to cut atleast $200(RS 10,000)
im buying-
i5 3570k
sapphire hd 7870 xt
g-skill ripjaws 8gb ram
500gb hdd
asrock z77 pro 4
corsair 3004 case
Im not goin to buy a new drive, I will take it out from my out pc

is there anything stupid Im buying that I should cut to in order to buy my cpu

should I reduce my GPU by half price( I want it badly because I really want to play games really smoothly) or do something else

Solution

if u will be overclocking and u play at 1080p anything below a hd 7870 will struggle
and if u want to reduce the cost only option would be getting a amd processor i suppose u live in india
and i could not find any fx 6300 if u can buy it other than that u...

IMO, I would cut but on your CPU and Mobo a little bit. Get an i5 3470 and b75/ H77 motherboard and it should come back closer to budget. Also maybe go for a cheaper case, but there isn't much else to cut back on, but I highly recommend keeping that GPU.

I will oc maybe in future when my cpu or gpu will suck while playing games and that will take a lot of time(imo as my processor or gpu are good enough), right now I have no idea how to do or how to maintain gpu or processor while ocing

I have a 1280 vs 720 lcd, but will play games on my 32 inch 1080p tv(my tv is mounted just above my cpu)

although if u use the 720p lcd u can get a hd 7770 or gtx 650 ti which would bring down ur budget but 1080p will be a better playing resolution

I think I will buy that cpu without any cuts, I will have to deal with this over budget my way
btw since you are rom india can, you suggest me where I can buy hd 7870 xt online(on flipkart it is out of sale but is available in theitdepot) is theitdepot a safe site, or I should buy it from some shop in Nehru place(I live in delhi)
