Hello everone,
So I built my gaming rig heres my hardware :),
CPU =AMD Phemon II x4m 965 B.E (overclocked a little to 3.6GHZ)
GPU =HD7850 (O.C edition)
Ram 8gb corsair vengeance
Mobo= Asus m5a78l-m
And so on, im not sure whether or not the above would make a difference to my problem.
So the problem is My 27inch BENQ GW2750H monitor flickers when im playing games such as sniper elite and assassins creed revelations, it might be interference of some kind, the problem is infrequent but is always there getting worse sometimes at complete random, its not awfull but its noticeable and its killing me lol, any help /advice to kill the flicker would be appreciated, also my HDMI cable makes my screen smaller thus me using a vga cable with a dvi dual link adapter, apart from this my build has been a success :D.

Multiple things can cause this:

1. Video card seating.
2. Video cable.
3. Monitor itself.
4. Drivers.

Take out and fully reseat your GPU. When that is done I encourage you to make sure your Catalyst Control Center drivers are fully up to date (I think there are 13.3 beta drivers out and the non-beta version is 12.X)- its #4 on the list but it can cause other various problems and is easy to do...so might as well knock it out.

If that doesnt fix it, you mentioned something about the HDMI cable making the screen smaller. Now that you have the most updated drivers for CCC try messing with the screen settings in CCC to see if you cant get it to fit to screen. VGA cables are known to go bad from time to time, so try swapping that out.

Finally is the monitor. If you have another monitor try swapping it out with another (if possible) and seeing if the problem persists.

Hope this helps.
