Hi guys,

I am sorry if this is not the right place, but I have no idea where I can ask for help and think that maybe my problem is with the Motherboard. However, there is nothing specific about my problem. Let's start with the components:

Motherboard: M4A87TD/USB3
Powercolor HD5770 1GB DDR5 PCI-E
Corsair 8GB CMX8GX3M2A1600C9
LC-Power 600W silent giant green v2.3
SAMSUNG 1TB Sata II 32MB F3
Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2

If I am not wrong I have this PC for a year and everything worked perfect until I move to another house and then I started to get some problems. When I tried to switch on the PC, after a few seconds, he shutdown. It seems like the PC didn't have enough power to start running. Anyway I found out that the problem was the connection between the CPU and the Cooler. I took off the Cooler, cleaned both the CPU and Cooler, added new thermal paste and the PC started smoothly.

After a few weeks, the new problems started. Again, there is nothing specific because I get random errors. For example, I am just listening music and the PC freezes and shutdown. I am working with After Effects and I get a Blue Screen. Sometimes I type the password to logg in and the PC goes down.

I run a memory check and found out that both the memory's had some errors, so I changed them, but the problems still happen.

Sometimes when I turn on the PC, it starts to do some hard disk check.

Everything is updated.

So I have no idea what is happening and I hope that someone can give me a hand.

These are some of the BlueScreens I get:

Hi alexoiu,

thanks for your reply. I updated the ATI driver and I tried what the guy in the link did. However, when I restarted the PC I got a Blue Screen, complaining about that driver. Finally, I reinstall the driver without the Catalyst but then the PC crashed four times in a row. Two Blue screens regarding Bad Pool Header and the other two the screen fills with "stripes" and I need to restart.

Hi alexoiu,

Well it has been an adventure. I tried reinstall the Windows and the first day everything went smooth and nice. But then again the same errors. Equal not less and non page support Blue Screens. I install the ATI driver without the Catalyst option but I still get the same Blue Screens.

And now, when I start the pc, I get a message that I need to repair my pc using a Recovery disk. However, every time I try to do that I get error message. I am starting to think in getting a hammer to have a serious talk with this pc.

Hi,
I suggest reinstalling Windows, but this time do not install any ATI driver. Run Windows update and it will install a driver for the graphics card. Run for a while with it. I guess that the errors show up after installing a driver or application (Antivirus for example). Try testing after each driver installation. And install only the necessary drivers (audio and LAN).
Test in games or in applications that you know the errors occur.

Hi Alexoiu,

thanks for your help. I finally solved the problem. How? By replacing the cooler and bought a new wireless usb receiver. Problem solved. Don't ask me why but it solved.
