Total: $1,368.55 USD

So do you think with these parts in my system that I would be able to run games such as Bioshock Infinite, DayZ, ARMA 3, ARMA 2, Planetside 2, Battlefield 3, Black Ops 2, Borderlands 2, Skyrim, and a lot of the other triple A titles on High-Max settings at a constant 60 FPS? If you think that any of the parts should be switched out, give me a link to the new part and why you think that I should go with that one instead. I was also planning on doing crossfire with the 7970 some time in the future, what kind of a power supply would I need to be able to handle two cards because the current PSU that I have selected goes up to 850w. Thanks in advance for your help.

What do you mean by "CF"? And I'm not positive that I am going to do 2 cards, I was just asking so that I would have room for some improvement.

The parts you listed there look pretty good but It's a necessity for me that I have more than 1TB of storage and 16GB of ram. I am a huge multi-tasker and 8GB doesn't really cut it for me.

I'm not saying that I want less storage, I'm saying that I need more storage. The original link I posted was a Hard Drive from Amazon that's a 2TB, I need at least 2TB.

This is a 2TB hard drive for under $100, what do you think? Or alternatively I could go with the 3TB version of the hard drive that is only $25 more, that seems like a pretty good deal.

So then what is your overall opinion of this build? Will it be able to run all the games I specified at a highly playable frame rate at Medium-Max settings? I was planning on getting this machine built in the very near future so I just want to make sure that I will be getting the most of my money before I buy all of the parts. Also, what is your opinion on the Gigabyte 7970? I've heard mixed reviews on AMD cards, people saying the the GTX cards are better for games like Battlefield 3 and Borderlands 2 (The two games that I play the most) and that the AMD cards are better for games like Skyrim (Don't play that often). What is your professional opinion on which card is better? Also, do you think that I should get a 850w power supply or will a 650w be fine for this build? Thanks for all the help.

the 7970 is better for pretty much every game. only flaw right now about it is that they have a lot of half rendered frames (or runts) when crossfired. hopefully it will be fixed. as for borderlands 2, you must have a nvidia card to play it. the game looks completely different without nvidia physx which is exclusive

850w for crossfire and 550w for single card. if you were to get a nvidia card though, a 750w is needed for SLI while 550w for a single card

So is it literally not possible to play Borderlands 2 without an Nvidia card? Isn't it possible to disable PhysX? I heard some people saying that it was possible to manually install PhysX into your graphics drivers if you have an AMD card, is this true?

Is it at all possible to crossfire a 7970 with a low end GTX card like the GTX 560 so that the system has PhysX? The 560 is barely $100 so it might be worth it.
