So i just bought a bunch of new parts for my PC which I will post below. However my Asus motherboard P8B75-M/csm is having some issues. First off when I hit the power button the fans start up and I can hear the memory try to be worked however, there is no post beep, no LED on the front, my restart button does not work and no display. Along with that the little red light on the board lights up stating that the DIMM was not installed correctly. THe pinout is correctly attached according to the manual and the power supply is working correctly.

Asus motherboard P8B75-M/csm
MEM 4Gx2|CORSAIR
CPU INTEL|CORE I5 3350P 3.1G 6M R
PSU CORSAIR|750W TX750M R
Nvidia GTX 460 graphics card

Are you using 2, 4g ram sticks? If so, which slots are they in? They should be in A2 and B2 (blue ones).

What is the model # of your ram?

What OS?

Did you plug in the four pin atx near the cpu?

Do you have an internal speaker hooked up to hear the beep codes? It will be attached to the same header as the power on and restart buttons use.

because the 3350p does not have a gpu on the processor, you need to check if the monitor is connected to the graphics card... not the motherboard (yes, obviously... but stranger things have happened...)

very carefully reinstall the cpu... then reseat the ram... check all connections... clear cmos... (jumper move or reinstall cmos battery). make sure your monitor is on the right input

make sure the graphics card has a pcie power cable installed on it.

if that does not get you in the BIOS... you will need the test each component to see if it works... a very big pain...

Okay so Markwp I think the ram is probably in the wrong spot than and I will retry that. Model # is CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9.

OS is suposed to be windows 7. Though sence I can't get a display I am unsure if there is even a OS. Yes the four pin is plugged in correctly. And the internal speakers are hooked up correctly according to the diagram and manual for the motherboard.

Now Redeye, the motherboard does have a HDMI plug so I have plugged it into the motherboard and the graphics card both to no avail. Ill try reinstalling the cpu and hit the button to reset ram. But how do I check Cmos?

I don't see your ram listed in either manual or the qvl list, but it should still work.

When you say the internal speakers are hooked up, do you mean you hooked up the headers to run the speakers/headphones through the jacks on your case? The internal speaker is a very small "button" speaker with two wire leads ending in a two pin plug like the ones for power on or reset.

Don't uninstall your cpu yet. Let's get through other stuff first.

No when i mean internal speakers I mean the ones inside that attach to the pinout board. They are directly integrated into the case and yes are a two wire but 4 pin plug which is plugged in in the same area as PWRBTN, RESET, HDLED, etc. The board is even labeled where it is to be inserted with the right amount of pins.
