I was wondering how long I should wait to Stress my cpu with my new Heat sink. I use the cooler master thermal paste that came with it. I only use a Pea size drop in the middle in every thing is Tighten down as good as I can get it. My temps are 20c idle 27f so far in I don't see a over heat issue with my mother board any more. I was just wondering if I should let the paste settle before using prime 95 in if all looks good Would I be able to achieve 4.0 ghz?

Solution
Be carefull. The N520 is a good cooler, but it uses a pair of 90mm fans in a push/ pull configuration. When those little guys ramp up, its going to be loud. I own two of them and they are outstanding, but not in the same ballpark as a Hyper 212 EVO.

They will not support an agressive an over clock as the 212, or a Noctua. Use baby steps.
