I bought a pre built OEM pc with an Nvidia GTX 660, I am trying to update the graphics drivers to 314.22 but it is giving me the error %1 is not a vaild Win32 application. I am running Windows 8 64bit. Any advice?

How are you trying to update ?

1. Go here:

http://www.geforce.com/

2. Pick 314.22 or 320.00 (I do the latter)

3. Download to HD.

4. Run installer

5. If ya have an issue, unload the old driver, reboot , don't let windows install anything and install new driver.

The issue I found with the "%1 is not a valid win32 application" was that the installers were calling on a common installer base to run. As it turned out it was corrupted on my machine. After removing the "Installer2" directory from "C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation", I had no more issues.

Thank you SO much for that.. After trying and trying and trying other "fixes" from users and the company alike, this was the only one that worked. So again, thanks.
