Now when I try and power it up the psu led blinks for a split second and then nothing happens, I am looking through all the guides, double checking the wires but don't seem to find this exact issue. I tested the psu with the paperclip method and it worked properly. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is.

Thanks for any input.

Yeah I figured out the problem, I unplugged the extra 4 prong power cable and it booted up, now I'm trying to figure out why I am getting a black screen when trying to install windows 7, also there is a weird red grainy tint on the screen during startup
