Hi everyone I just built my computer but the video card has coil whine and is annoying. I read on the Internet that a slight over/under clock can get rid of it. The problem is that I don't know how to do it. These are the components if needed.
I5-3570k
Gigabyte ga z77x - d3h
Corsair vengeance 2x4gb
Antec hcg 620m
1tb Seagate barracuda
Sapphire 7870xt

This tutorial will show you how to overclock (or alternatively underclock) a card. The hardware is old, but its still the same basic method and programs involved.

When I overclock a graphics card, I typically bump up the core clock 25mhz, test for stability (I use 3DMark 11 Basic), bump the core clock, test and then bump the memory clock by 25Mhz. Rinse repeat until its unstable.
