Im asking because i had some trouble after i first bought it (few days ago)
the main problem was that my monitor was not showing anything when i used the new card, but would work fine when i remove it and switch to my old GPU
i then looked up the problem and found a solution: go to BIOS and switch from uefi to Legacy mode, and after i did that, the new card worked fine
but is that normal? or should it just work fine as soon as i plug it in? it might be because i have an integrated GPU before it
And also, my PCI Express slot only supports up to gen. 2.0, but the card is 3.0, so would it run faster/better if had a PCI Express slot for gen 3.0?
just in case, this is my pc (upgraded to 525W PSU instead of 300W for the new GPU): http://tinyurl.com/csumgor
