Problem with my phenom II x4 965 BE

Since i install the corsair h60 2nd generation in my pc i'm getting problem with the overclock , while i'm playing a game like BF3 my cpu drop from 3817.30 MHz to 803.64 MHz , that happen every 30 or 20 seconds . My pc specs:
CPU:AMD Phenom II x4 965 Oc 3.8 GHz
RAM:8GB 1600Mhz
GPU:MSI Gtx 650 OC 1GB
Motherboard:Asus m4n68t-m v2
PSU: 500 Watts

Is Cool and Quiet disabled in the bios? That is typically what will cause the multiplier to jump down to 4 (it's lowest power mode).

could be your motherboard's vrm is heating due to overclocking
