I want to buy or build a custom PC for my living room (coneected to TV).
This is what I am looking for:
* Living room PC, primarly to play games (movies and music also), "heavy" games such as Farcry 3, Bioshock infinite, Battlefield 3...
* Ideally superior to the next generation of consoles, so it doesnt get obsolote too fast and I get rid of my XBOX360 and PS2
* Customizable so I can upgrade components in the future
* No need for DVD/CD initially, just Wi-fi
* Nice, small case and if possible quiet, as it will sitting next to the TV
Can anybody help me in finding the right combination? My budget is around 500 EUR - 700 USD at max.
Also, as I have never assembled any PC, should I look for a barebone system? Which one? What should I add?
