500W+ PSU with thin cables

I'm looking for a new power supply for my computer. I'd like at least 500W, but the thing what I'm mostly looking for is thin cables. In my current computer the cables on the PSU are really thick and take up a hell of a lot of room.

Is there any PSU out there what will do the job?

I've tried, problem is 2 of my SATA connecters are broke. Maybe with a new PSU and those 2 connecters I could route things a little better. Or maybe I need a bigger case :p.

Thin cables? I'm not sure I understand.

The cables need to follow proper fire and safety codes. You can't use 28 gauge wire on them as the wires will get to hot carrying that much electricity. I would think for the most part all the PSUs should have similar size cables if not bigger. Perhaps you need a new case as well. My old Antec 300 was horrible for routing cables, but my new HAF XM is a dream. At least as far as routing cables went.

Edit: The peripheral wires inside a PSU are 16-18gauge going from memory. The wires in the ATX bundle are bigger, I think around 12-14. I wouldn't run any PSU that had 20+ gauge wires. You're just asking for trouble.

Some Corsair modular power supplies use ribbon cables that are thin despite having wires of the same gauge as wires in conventional cables.
You could remove the plastic wire ties from regular cables or the heat shrink at the ends of sheathed cables to make them as thin as ribbons.
