Will this setup work well

Right after much deliberation this is the setup i am going for

I currently have a brand new asus M5 A97 r2.0 board and new Kingston hyper 8gb 240pin ram

I am looking to buy new a 8350 4ghz and a
ATI Radeon Tahiti XT HD 7970 3GB but this will be second hand from cex (as i have trade in parts/consoles)

will this power supply power everything?

Also what do you think of this build i will be gaming at 1080p for now but could increase in the next year or 2

If your goal is to find a decent 450W PSU (408W on the 12v rails combined), you've still not reached it with that PSU. I will recommend away from that PSU and instead suggest spending about double that for a decent 750 (like the Corsair CX750) or, if not adding a second GPU soon, to look at a decent 500W unit

That's a 750w I believe with good write ups. I could get a corsair 500w for similar price from a friend will that run it
