Ok, so I have a Dell Studio XPS 8100 and want to install an Asus PCE-AC66 Network Card. I thought I had the available PCIe port avaialble, but it looks like the video card is taking up two slots. I'm not sure if anything can be done to fit the network card in.
Here's the link to the network card:

Here's an edited pick of the motherboard and available slots:

Blue = Can't access, already taken up
Red = Sound Card
Black = Free
Is it possible to remove the soundcard and use it's slot for the network card? If I removed it, could I still get sound via streaming content from the internet and using a HDMI cable to the tv?
