Router not able to handle more than ~5 wireless connections?

I have a Time Warner router, and after talking with them about my "IP address conflict problem", they restarted my modem, and then when that didn't work, they said that my router cannot handle more than 5 wireless connections at a time. And we probably have 8 or 9 wireless devices here at home.

My question is, is there any way to get around this? And if not, how can I shop for a router that will supply 10+ wireless connections? Browsing through router specs on Newegg.com, I didn't see any indication of # of wireless connections supported.

That is *very* odd, even among the lowest end routers.
Looking through the documentation for that, I can't see anything that specifies a max number of wireless connections.
Usually, the DHCP server can, in theory, handle 256.

Go in to the router settings, and see if there is a box that limits the number of IP addresses the DHCP server hands out.

Found this in their FAQ:
"Note: GATEWAY -> DHCP IP Pool – Be sure you have sufficient IP addresses defined for allocation to wireless clients AFTER they connect successfully to the Primary Network SSID."

This is great advice and should be checked. As I said earlier, this is certainly not normal.
