Hi

First of all i would like to say that i am completely new to this forum, so feel free to say if i have done anything wrong about the posting of this.

Anyway, my problem is that i get the blue screen error at random (i think)
The worst part is, that it's 2 different blue screen errors. (but lets focus on 1 of them)

my LAPTOP is only 4 days old, and i would hate to get it refunded...

My systems specs is:
Intel Core i7-3630QM 4x2,40GHz (Turbo 3.40GHz)6MB cache Ivy Bridge
Kingston 8GB DDR3-1600 RAM DualChannel
AMD HD7970m 2GB
Samsung 840 250GB SSD Solid State disk

I think the error is named something like: BAD_POOL_HEADER or irql_not_less_or_equal.

I dont know what i should do, so you guys are able to help me, so please start out by telling me that :)

(read something about uploading a minidump file(?), but can't seem to find any upload button in here)

Thanks is advance! :)

not gonna be able to tell what's wrong without the dmp file.

go into Windows\Minidump folder. that error could be anything from a corrupt driver to bad system ram.

you could also run memtest on your system just to check the ram first, as it will be hard to play with the dmp file here.

Thanks for the quick response! :)

When i go into the Minidump folder there are 4 DMP files named some random numbers.
Should i upload them all? (If yes, how should i upload them?)

ugh... good question. i'm not familiar with these forums enough to know a good way to play with it.

i was gonna write a small tutorial, then i said f-it... and found a blog page with some google searching that might help you track down your problem

http://weblogs.asp.net/owscott/archive/2012/07/18/reading-a-memory-dmp-or-other-dmp-file.aspx

someone else might have an easier way to deal with it. i'm more used to being present with the system and figuring it out on my own. that looks like a good place to start. Hope the issue is driver not ram.
