Multi screen gaming setup display - three monitors

Hi there, I have recently been building a PC and I have got it to a spec I am happy with. I am now looking it improving my display by going multi screen. However I was quite schooled to read the my graphics card Probaly wouldn't handle three screens? And considering I spent £250 on my gpu alone.

So my question is: would I be able to run three monitors and I need some links to some decent ones.

My gaming pc specs:
Intel core i5 2400 3.1ghz 3.4ghz
Nvidia gtx 660 ti DirectCUII 2GBDDR5
8gb 1333mhz ram
500gb sata HDD
MSI Motherboard
Corsair 750watt
Sharkoon t28 case

You would be able to run three monitors in an extended desktop configuration quite easily, but game across the three monitors and it will struggle.

Adding a 2nd GTX 660Ti is a good choice. The GTX 660 Ti in SLI are capable of running at 5760x1080 on most games. However, expecting them to run everything on high or ultra isn't realistic.

Also, what is your budget for the monitors?

Just for reference, I know my two GTX460 In SLI is a little out dated, but i was able to run skyrim on High settings on a single monitor no problem. When i switched to multi monitor gaming it is choppy on the low settings. I definitely would get a second card If your gaming on 3 monitors.

Another graphics card will not be an option, I've literally just saved up to afford the 660 Ti. I currently have got a Samsung SyncMaster S23B350 23" Monitor. I really didn't wan to spend more than £200 and by the looks of it, that will not help me at all. I was thinking about purchasing a 2nd SyncMaster S23B350 - 2ms refresh rate, Pretty decent quality, VGA/DVI/HDMI ports. (£150) and then purchase a third when I've got enough. Or got any suggestions?

Also, as i won't be able to obviously game across three if I had three monitors. Would it still be worth having three monitors. To get another two monitors would cost me £300 - £150 per piece. As I stated earlier, they're 2ms refresh rate, high quality, slim, DVI/HDMI/VGA, 23" screen. Sound like a good plan to go ahead with doing that?
