I have an interesting situation. I have an external HDD (WD My Book Essential 500GB) that is NTFS, which ran fine with PS3 Media Server awhile back. My girlfriend just got an external (WD My Passport 500GB) that is also NTFS, but it doesn't recognize it.
I know that PS3 MS only recognizes Fat32. I tried doing a normal conversion from NTFS to Fat32 via Windows (came up as exFat), but Windows wasn't able to complete it. I also tried a program (Ridgecrop Formatter) which can format over 32GB from NTFS to Fat32 but that didn't work either.
Is there any other way to work around this? Or is there another Media Server that will run NTFS?
