F: is not accessible the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable

I have a Kingston Data Traveler G3 which I can't open. My computer can read it as "Removable Disk (F:)", but it doesn't open and it asks for format. Is there anything I can do, so as not to lose my files?

May be it is a indication of virus cause i face this problem before, when i change my antivirus it caught my thumb drive is infected with virus .Check it for virus with updated antivirus.
