The speeds are additionally slow. I sadly can't recall if this has been doing this since I unwrapped it last Christmas, but it's quite annoying.

I am plugged into a 6.0GB/s Sata, the PSU is 800w gold so that's of course not the issue, maybe it's the SSD? While that MIGHT be true, I also have a HDD that requires me to power cycle for detection sometimes. 1/2 of the times no cycle is neccesary.

That's when I though, MY MOBO! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131790

I updated the firmware to 3603, same problems.

Back to the SSD, I tried to update the firmware for it with a program in the OS, it then said no SSD detected, I pressed okay then it updated my firmware? I don't even..

My SSD benchmarks, Whoaaaa isn't this really low?

I will be installing Win8 on another HDD, seeing if that one requires a cycle or not. <-- Can't till this weekend. Need a SATA cable.

EDIT: Bad news for the SSD??

I put my benchmark side by side to a much faster SSD, even though the drives are identical. Maybe not firmware, but I shouldn't get 1/2 the performance because of that. What about the "SCSI" in my title? RAID0, and all those similar terms.. could that be my problem? Forgive me for not knowing, but isn't there settings or "types" or ways I can make my drive run? I think a few terms are RAID0, ASCII, RAID1, 2, 5, 10?

Solution
Your AS-SSD results show mv91xx which means your SSD is connected to a Marvell SATA port.

SATA 3 (6Gb/s) SSDs need to be connected to native 6Gb/s ports for maximum performance.

Connect your SSD to Intel SATA port SATA6G_1 or SATA6G_2 and retest.
See page 2-2 of your motherboard manual for the location of the ports.
