Hi, the topic is fairly simple really. Also, sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.

I have a HP p6320uk desktop pc, i'm wanting to take everything out of it and put it in a new Case. The question is, is this possible?

I've upgraded the graphics card to a 7750, i plan to also upgrade the processor at a later date. With this in mind i will also need a new PSU, but as you all know, most big manufacturers leave little space for upgrades.

Would it be possible to take all the parts from my PC and put it in a new tower? The power button may be an issue, as it's located on top of the pc.

If it's not possible, any suggestions to keep MOST of what i already have and buy a new case/mobo.

I have 8gb kingston ram, 2x HDD's and the 7750 card that i really would like to keep.

I'm not looking for any special case, just something that will have room for further upgrades in the future but also compatible with the parts i have( If Possible)

Should work no problem. The motherboard is a standard microATX, and should fit most cases. The power switch being on top has no bearing. It connects to the motherboard via a wire.

The only thing that might be an issue is mounting the multimedia card reader.

The card reader isn't very important because i very rarely use it. Thanks for the reply.

Do you know what sort of case i need? I would like something that looks decent, it doesn't have to have LED's or anything like that, just as long as it's spacious and doesn't look just like a black box.

Any current mid-tower that conforms to the ATX spec (almost all of them) and fits your budget should work.

Fractal Design cases are nice, without looking flashy with LEDs etc. Very good quality.

Hmmm... I've wanted to do the same thing with MY computer! I use the HPE-510y, and while it's not a bad premade rig, I've already made a few modifications by replacing the ATI Radeon card with an EVGA GeoForce 550ti and the old 300w PSU with an Antec 550w PSU, and also removed the TV Tuner for two reasons. 1: I never used it. 2: It was getting in the way of cooling. The mobo in this unit is a FOXCONN N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX. My main reason for wanting to do this is that I really need to introduce more COOLING to my unit, and HP cases are quite small, so I cannot even find a decent cooler for my CPU. Is this possible?

OR... can I just buy a new CASE AND MOBO... and install my old CPU, Memory, and other components on it? Either way would be fine?
