I just received a new PNY GTX 680. It Sounds like a hair drier when I plug it into my system and turn it on. It is there to replace my 460 SLI, one card of which is bricked. There are the eight beeps indicating that the MOBO has a video issue when 680 is attached. remaining 460 works as intended. Would love some input before I return/RMA to make sure card is compatible or issue is not something I am doing wrong/can fix. Rest of system specs are as follows.

Intel i7 875k liquid cooled | EVGA p55 FTW | Kingston Hyper Blu 8GB ram (4x2GB)
| (formerly) Galaxy gtx 460 SLI | Thermaltake 850w PSU

Thank you to anyone who would respond.

You could try it in a different computer, see if it works in there. If it doesn't work then either, it's a DOA.
