iMac + PC screen

Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a 27" iMac to do some photo and video editing, I was curious if there was a chance I could use my dedicated PC and iMac interchangeably?

Basically I don't want 2 sets of keyboards and mice on my desk and it would be a nice alternative to be able to use 1 set for both monitors, is this possible at all?

What you want is a KVM switch. This allows you to attach one set of keyboard/mouse/screen to multiple computers. Just make sure to find one that supports OSX.

Keep in mind though that it will probably add some level of latency. If you play online games on a high level, this might be a problem.

You still need both the iMac and the PC screen though. As far as I know, it's not possible to use an iMac as a dedicated screen for a computer. Please correct me if I'm wrong here. I have little to no knowledge about Apple devices.

I believe it is possible to do that but that isn't what I wanted. I wanted the ability to use my keyboard/mouse on both computers without manually swapping them over.
