hi,

i was just wondering if i could play games such as Bioshock infinite or Assassin's creed 3 at maximum details at 1080p with an AMD Phenom II 965 oc'd at 3,8-4Ghz along with the upcoming gtx780 which, from specs leaks, falls behind the Titan.

If not, would it be possible at a res of 1680x1050?
another question : i know the cpu will be bottlenecking the gfx...but i was planning to wait for steamroller and keep my am3+ mobo for a bit longer: is it a good idea? or should i just jump to haswell?
Is steamroller even coming out on am3+ lol? if not...then it is clear that i should jump to haswell...

Anyways, i'd appreciate it if you guys could enlighten me on this matter.
thanks

Usually nvidia geforce cards is not really depend on processor speed..
In other words, while using geforce card(s), the difference between the most expensive processor with your processor is still tolerable..
And overclocking technique to this dinosaur helps a lot to gain more frame rate..

Well, actually Quadcore phenom back to the track as recommended gaming processor based on tomshardware article.

Actually, lower resolution make a cpu dependent situation..and higher resolution (1080p or more) is more GPU dependent..
So get a monitor with highest resolution that you can get..
