Hello. I am looking to sell my MSI GTX 680 Lightning. Does anyone know what the sell value of this video card could be? I will provide some details.

I bought it brand new from Newegg.com, and have used it for exactly 2 months in my new gaming rig. My intention was to purchase another 680 Lightning to run both in SLI. However, shortly after making my purchase, MSI discontinued the 680 Lightnings. My assumption is due to Nvidia's request to not unlock voltage control on their Kepler GUPs. Regardless, I cannot find any "new" Lightnings for a reasonable price, and I do not want to buy used or referbished.

I really love this video card. It's an amazing piece of hardware, and takes anything I through at it. But, my "long run" intention for my gaming rig was to go with a 2-way SLI setup. I want to sell this card, and purchase 2, new, and exactly the same video cards. I have not overvolted this video card, so it is in like new condition. Perfect physical condition as well.

If anyone has some insight on what this card could sell for, it would be greatly appreciated. It would help me to know where to start.

Thanks in advance!

It's the 2gb. Do you not think it is worth a little more since they are hard to find now? Plus the unlocked voltage controls should give it an edge, right?

Also, where are some good places to sell? I don't have an EBay account, and starting one now with no "sale history" might not be appealing to potential buyers. Craigslist seems like a long shot for a local sale. I'll only sell locally and cash only on Craigslist. Not sure what other options are out there.

If it is not your goal to OC the SLI cards then you can match the GTX 680 with any other 680: it does not make any difference as to the OEM for a SLI. But the clock speed has to match.

You also could consider Amazon as a sale place. You will probably need a PayPal account for either eBay or Amazon.
