So i'm looking for a basic gaming computer that can play the new age games, and I've made a custom one on ibuypower.com Here are the specs:
1 x Power Supply ( 400 Watt - Standard )
1 x Memory ( 4 GB [2 GB X2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module - Corsair or Major Brand )
1 x Video Card ( AMD Radeon HD 7770 - 1GB - Single Card )
1 x Video Card Brand ( Major Brand Powered by AMD or NVIDIA )
1 x Processor ( Intel® Core™ i5-3350P Processor (4x 3.10GHz/6MB L3 Cache) )
1 x Processor Cooling ( Certified CPU Fan and Heatsink )
1 x Motherboard ( Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H )
1 x Optical Drive ( 24X Dual Format/Double Layer DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive - *Mothers Day Sale* )
1 x Sound Card ( 3D Premium Surround Sound Onboard )
1 x Network Card ( Onboard LAN Network (Gb or 10/100) )
1 x Operating System ( Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium + Office Starter 2010 (Includes basic versions of Word and Excel) - 64-Bit )
1 x Keyboard ( iBUYPOWER Standard Gaming Keyboard - FREE Upgrade to A4Tech Blue LED Backlit Gaming Keyboard ($19 value) )
1 x Monitor ( 19" LCD 1366x768 )
This is all for $800 i was wondering if this would be able to run games like Skyrim or FarCry3 or if there is a better deal on a similar computer on a different sight?

id stick to the cpu, but drop things like liquid cooling for a hyper 212 or something equal, drop the sound card and network card (they have basic ones included on the motherboard). put any extra savings towards a better gpu. as tiny voices said, that gpu is literally no good for gaming. for gaming you would want a 650 at the least (7770 or above for radeon)

edit: you might lower the cpu a step or two and upgrade your psu because 300 watts wont handle a lot of better gpu's. an i3 will work on a budget. I have used an i3 system and know people who still do. just an idea

at the resolution youre working with, it should hang in pretty well. i feel like youd be good for medium settings in most games. If you could spend any more on graphics id suggest it, but that'll get you going for sure.

I upgraded the graphics card to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 - 2g is that better? Also is the power supply enough or do i need to add more to that as well?

according to the chart i usually reference, its actually a step down. that being said, its not far off of the performance, youre probably just paying more for the 2gb version (which at that resolution isnt really necessary). Gotta be careful with those websites when it comes to stuff like that. a step up from the 7770 would be a radeon 7790, 7850 or nvidia 650ti, 650ti boost.
