So yea will this 7850 run on my 450w power supply? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
my mobo is pretty standard its a micro atx mobo, i have a basic dvd burner to read disks, 8 gb ripjaws for ram, a fx 4100 cpu, a 1 tb 7200 rpm hdd and like I said before I have 450w power supply.

450W? What brand? model?
7850 needs 2x 6pin power connector, I doubt a mere 450W PSU could do that...
Anyway, we need more info here.. :)

That card should work. But your PSU is bad lol. You should upgrade to a good manufacturer with 500w
A bad PSU can actually start to cause damage to your other components.

Is that your PSU?
Well, not great but acceptable, I don't like the 12V rails configuration: +12V1@14A, +12V2@16A.
Huff, I would say yes you can run a single HD5850 with that PSU, just don't overclock or anything, your PSU already on it's limit... :)
