Hey guys,

I was watching some review videos showing the performance of a GT660ti SLI setup acheiving performance results like 115fps on BF3 and 80 fps on Crysis 3 (With ultra settings). I have these cards in that setup and get NO WHERE NEAR these results?

Is this due to HDD speed/Mobo and CPU set up/ RAM and RAM speeds?

My Mobo and CPU = Asus Sabertooth and a AMD FX 6100
RAM= Gskill 8gb kit at 1333mhz

Is INTEL the way to go? adn if so, what combination of mobo and CPU (intel) would help me achieve these desired goals?

THANKS!

An i5 3570k and a Z77 Sabertooth would do it easily. Your current mobo is probably the best AM3+ that is available now, so I would recommend getting an 8320 or 8350 and calling it a day. They perform nearly neck-and-neck with i5 in most benchmarks.

Yeah that FX 6100 is killing you

Go i5 or possibly i7 depending on use/need

Most will recommend the i5 3570k, as would I, for its overclocking potential and excellent performance, especially gaming.

Mobo I recommend the ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 personally

Your processor is horrible for the task you have given it.

Get a 8320 and overclock as much as you can get.

Yes it would. Bit on the pricey side but it is certainly a solid, feature packed board.
