so a friend and i went 50/50 on this windows 8 pro. he installed and activated it, no problems. then i install it, so far so good, but when i get on line to activate it, i put in the code that came with it, but they tell me that i cant use it because its already activated on a different comp, and that i would have to purchase a new code. you`ve got to be fu--ing kidding me. well, needless to say-thats not gonna happen. so here i am, needing a code so that i can activate mine. can you help me out?

I has been this way for a number of years now and the only thing you can try is calling Microsoft to see if they will let you do this, it's a long shot with not much chance but it's all you have.

If you ask for hacking codes or Illegal key code you will be booted from the forum since we don't allow any pirating or illegal actions.

I'm not going to provide you with any links or anything, but there are ways to activate Windows without a license. Either you get your friend to refund your money, you beg Microsoft for a second key, or you go the illegal route. Or you could just be screwed out of your $70. Personally, I think you should just get him to pay you back then you can buy Windows 8 Pro yourself, or buy Windows 7 which I think is really the better choice at this time.
