Reusing 20 minute old thermal paste?

Hey guys, I installed my new CPU into my new mobo, but the mobo was dead. So... I moved my CPU back to my old one, and the paste is still very fresh and plentiful on both the heatsink and CPU. I wanted to know if it was okay to reuse it, because I REALLY don't want to drive all the way out to Radioshack, as it is about a 30 minute one way drive. I could understand if it was like months old, but I've just now tried it.

I've uploaded pictures... Thanks!

And air-bubbles from removing and re-applying will result in less contact meaning warmer temps (could be so little you don't see a difference, or it could be massive.) As a rule, if you remove the heatsink, ALWAYS apply fresh paste. If you are out of paste, just go buy more and don't remove your heatsink until you do.

I feel sarcasm in "Nice job!"

If it gets hot, I'm definitely going to run and get some no matter what. What would be a high CPU temp? I know GPU's are 100 max.

It was a complement,sorry. Temp under load 45-50c /@idle 35c

Haha, my bad! Idle's usually less than 35 and medium loads such as Minecraft run around 45.
I should be good, if not, I've read that the stock heatsink is garbage, so rather than reapplying thermal paste, I'll just get a new one if it comes to that! Thanks all.
