Hey guys so my ssd wouldnt boot windows so I cleared the partition on my dads computer and installed windows XP (only disc that I have). After that , I unplugged his hard drive and it boots windows perfectly off my ssd. When I plug it back into my computer, it stops on the windows loading screen and automatically restarts. Then it has the message go into safe mode worth etc. or start windows normally. All of these functions reboots my computer. What should I do? It works perfectly on my dads computer )=

That is typical.
Installing Windows on a drive in one PC, then moving that drive to another PC and expecting it to work.

Different parts, different drivers...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. As we see in your case.

Why wouldn't it boot on your PC?

I have no idea! What can I do then? For some reason I can't boot from the windows disc on my computer.
