AMD APU - can't get any video on bootup

I have a brand new AMD APU processor, and a new motherboard. I've installed it with all other new components, but when I power it on, I get no video signal. I've tried installing a PCI graphics card, and still nothing. I also get no POST beeps, and other than all of the fans spinning, including the processor fan, and the power light being on, nothing else seems to be happening. I have since switched out monitors, power supplies, processors, and motherboards. None of that seems to work. I also tried all of the motherboard display ports including the VGA, DVI, and HDMI. Still, nothing seems to work. I've seen other forums that say you must have separate graphics card installed, but I've tried putting on an nvidia gtx 275, and nothing happened with that either. I'm about to switch back to an AMD Phenom, because I just can't seem to figure out these newer APUs. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

First make sure you check all your power cables coming off the power supply going to the motherboard. Not getting power to the board will cause a no post. Make sure your 20-24pin atx is connected and your EPS 8/4 pin is connected.

You say this is a new processor and new board. Is this part of a new build or an upgrade? If your using old DDR2 memory in this new motherboard it will fit but cause this issue as well. All of these new FM1-FM2 socket boards use DDR3 memory.

If this is part of a new build make sure you have your motherboard spacers/risers screwed onto the case first. If you just screw the MB down to the case it will cause it to short and not post, along with no video.

Look at this stuff first there are a few other things that could be going on, like bent processor pins... But try this first.

Colsanders, thank you for your reply. I am using DDR3 memory, all parts are brand new. I also verified the power connectors, and even tried a new power supply. Same thing. I guess the only single thing that I have not replaced is the case. I wasn't sure if it was the power button possibly, so I switched the reset and power pins and still the same effect. And again, this is a new build, not an upgrade. MB spacers are being used, and this is probably the 50+ computer I have built, but this is the first APU I have used.

I'm not sure it's the processor pins, as I have tried a new mobo and processor, and all of them separately and individually switched out to try to narrow down the culprit. Still, no POST.

I'm considering just taking it in for a 2nd opinion. I've spent days working on it with no progress.

Any other ideas are always welcome.

EDIT:

I tried another new power supply, not fully satisfied that it wasn't the culprit. This new PS is now clicking and nothing else. I know power supplies have no moving parts, other than the fan, and clicking usually means there's a short somewhere. I wonder if this is really the issue. A power shortage somewhere. Thoughts?

I am having the same issue with my new FX-8350. No video but all of the fans and lights are working. Are there anymore suggestions before I try to check for bent pins?

EDIT

I was looking around for some more fixes and decided to double check if my Crosshair IV Formula motherboard could work with the processor. Supposedly it can but it needs an updated BIOS in order to work. Is this true and how may I go about upgrading the BIOS in order to make this CPU work?

Update: I did some more diagnostics on the new hardware. I reconnected a second brand-new power supply, the one that was clicking and shorting out, and added one component at a time. With just the power connected to the motherboard, the computer started up. I then added the memory. I realized that one of the memory modules was not working. Even after that, the motherboard still does not POST with the one working module in.

I think I'm a bit closer now, but still no video...
