compatibility of Windows 8 to NX 7.5

anyone know if NX 7.5 will work if I upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 8 PRO...?? Does not seem to want to launch in Windows 8.

Will also be trying to load Catia V5R18...

Did you actually get it to work..? If so are you using 8 or 8 PRO..?
Reason I ask is because I've been trying to get it to work for about a week now on 8. I was thinking of erasing the hard drive and installing 7 but have been told that could cause problems. Mainly locating drivers for graphics card, etc, and HP would not warranty it any longer. Microcenter suggested upgrading to 8 PRO. Just got the upgrade tonight but haven't upgraded yet. Right now I'm finishing resetting back to factory. If I can know that it will definitely work with 8 PRO then I will go ahead and upgrade. If I will have the same issue prior to the upgrade I may as well take the laptop back as well as the unused upgrade.

Also...I have googled "jvm update" and "update jvm" and keep getting JVE or Java script as result. How can I get JVM updated...?

I'm at the end of my rope people...I upgraded to Windows 8 PRO. I went to Java.com and installed the latest version of Java. NX 7.5 still won't launch. I know I saw a window that said UGRAF is not compatible (obviously with Windows 8?). Does anyone know what my issue is..? I know there are posts out there that people are getting NX 7.5 to work with little or no problems. Doesn't seem to be the case for me. I have through the weekend to get this working. If not it's going back to Microcenter. I'll just have to order a windows 7 directly from HP or Dell and pay the extra hundreds of dollars if I can't get this working...

I'm begging...someone please help...

If you have got NX 7.5 running on a Windows 8 laptop, please give me details on how to get it working...

Oh...this is a "cracked", bootlegged version by the way...

Exactly the same problem as you buddy, except with NX 8. I have tried almost everything and would love to hear from anyone who has got it to work for windows 8. lmtools works fine, the bundles appear in license options but when trying to open NX it just doesn't open. I have tried opening as administrator too however this changes nothing. have you had any luck with it?

Hi

Thanks for the comeback. I have tried this. then tried running it for windows 7, vista, everything but no luck. It just fails to load it completely. The lmtools runs fine and so does the license server, just not NX itself. desperate to get this working asap as I need it for uni big time
