Power Cycling Issues

Hey all,
During the last month my desktop PC has decided to randomly start powercycling during the middle of use. It has become a more frequent issue as of late (mind you, this does not happen everytime I use the PC). My case was having grounding issues (I could feel a small electrical current running through the screws, metal parts, etc. on the outside), so I decided I would take all the components of my PC apart and put it back together to see if the electrical current was the problem with the power cycling. Turns out it was not, I did fix the grounding issue though. Now , after putting the PC back together, the power cycling happens probably 80% of the time. I have noticed that this power cycling will occur less often the longer I have my PC unplugged (ex. a couple of days). The weirdest part is that it is power cycling, but will turn off and on about 3 times. Each time it turns off and on, the interval between the two becomes shorter. At about the 3rd cycle, the PC will stay off and will not turn on at all. All my MOBO lights are on. There are no warning lights or beebs coming from the machine. I have gone onto multiple forums to get a clue at what it is I might be dealing with, but every situation I have found is not exactly what is going on with my PC. I decided to detach each component from my mobo one by one to see if it is hardware failure (obviously everything besides the PSU). I have had no luck. With everything unplugged and detached from the MOBO, the lights stay light on the MOBO and the PC will still power cycle. One of the times when the PC did stay on for a while, I went into BIOS and checked my voltages and temps for my CPU, MOBO, etc. According to my manual they were all in the safe and comfortable range that they should be. I am really at the end of my wits at this point. If anyone has any ideas at what the problem might be please feel free to share.
