Hello everyone, I have a nice computer with a i5-3550 and 16 gig ram.
I noticed one day my ssd of 120 gig was lower in memory then expected i did some research and found out that the pagefile.sys had been taking up like 20-30 gigs i think. so i disabled it. bad idea or no? things seem to be going fine but i would like some input on what i should do. considering i want to save as much room as possible on my small SSD. Thx

Thats what i thought, its like corsair vengenace ram or w/e 2x 8 gig sticks. so i can leave it disabled? and ya no clue why it was so high. i also disabled the hibernate thing that was eatting up 10 gig or so. ty for your input,

it's a "whatever" type of thing. i disabled hibernation mode on my system (hiberfil.sys) mostly because half the time my computer crashed coming out of hibernation mode (particularly my nvidia gpu).

pagefile.sys is only necessary if you use sleep mode. which i do, cause it's convenient.
